When A NYC Bakery Is Not So New York

When a NYC bakery only opens from Monday to Friday with business hours from 8/9 am to 4pm and when you have a full time job and have to work long hours every week day. You have to make sure you take a day off to check out these bakeries. Just to name two of them below:

Arcade Bakery nested in the lobby of an old office building in Tribeca. Once you get into that building, you will be soaked in the aroma of French baguette, croissants and parlor coffee. The almond croissant is definitely the best I ever had in New York and is also one of the reason that I keep going back.

Burrow Bakery in Dumbo of Brooklyn New York is just like a burrow. It even doesn’t have a phone, but its pastries speak aloud. Gateaus, roasted green tea cookie and seasonal sweets are all spreading the words. The merry of Japanese ingredients and French technics is always pulling me back to the burrow.
