From my experience of the local guide program, I have increased my
passion to develop my skills in photography and wherever I go I participate in pictures and reviews to help my friends about new places in my country and other countries that I have visited. I discovered places, Traditions and religions through other people from around the world, its so beautiful, Helpful and useful way to connect.
One day I met my friend Harith and he told me about a new cafe (swing sweet ) and he invited me to visit his cafe. The next day… I went there the cafe was so cozy and it had a unique decoration, there was a swings instead of chairs.
I tried a dessert (waffle and crepe ) and they were so delicious, when I was there he said that he did some advertising to the cafe by social media but because of the guest couldn’t find the place and the guest have difficulties to arrive to the cafe.
So, I offered my help and suggested a google map to publish his cafe on it.
we start taking the picture for cafe and add info on google map .and add it with sweet and pastry list .we thought about an idea to make customers connecting with his café on google map, so we copied the link of café on google maps, Convert it to QR logo and print it with A4 size paper to place on the wall. the customers started to ask about it and we took the mission to explain for them about google maps and an explanation of the tools that help us to communicate with customers.
They started detailing it. By this, we have achieved our goal of communicating with customers and show the cafe with some pictures and reviews. And the result was great, and people start coming to the cafe after been advertised on google map. I’m very happy that I helped him and be apart of his project’s success through the local guide program.
