I care about sharing on google maps.
Giving honest reviews, generous suggestions and true advice to people for a place gives you pleasure specially when you are a traveller- just like me. I love wandering around and finding new places to hang out every weekend.
I share on google maps because I myself search a place(I’m planning to visit) on google and read reviews about it before visiting. And so I post reviews, share pictures and videos to help others to find out what to expect from a place.
For instance, I visited Adventure Island (an adventure park in Delhi) a couple of months ago. I read reviews and went through pictures and videos of the place. But when I reached there, I found three of the rides were not working and that was a bit disappointing specially because in those three non-working rides, one was my favourite and I always wanted to take that ride. You feel bad when go to a place and find out something that is not according to what you expected. So, in my reviews about the place I advised people to just get the full information of rides (through mailing or calling) before planning a visit. Such suggestions from someone always saves you from ruining your weekend.
The above was the case in which you can get less than what you expected. But there are places which offers you more than your expectations. There are places worth a visit but they are unpopular due to some reasons. I give reviews to places that are undervalued and give people a clear idea- what to expect. Such a place is Sanjay Van (a forest area in Delhi). It’s not a popular spot but this place won my heart because you can find peace and nature here. Such a natural place is hard (actually rare) to find in Delhi metropolitan city.This place is a mini forest available for trekking, there is a lake in the forest in which you can see swans swimming in and you can also watch different birds around. I definitely suggest people to go to this place and you will surely get more than what you expected.
