What to do in Siem Reap? [temple tour]

What can you do in Siem Reap besides the temples tour??

There are always questions from people about what to do and where to go in Siem Reap. Actually, there are many things you can see and do here like Sightseeing, Food and drink, Entertainment, Arts and Culture, Local ways of life and sports. I have come up with a list that can make you spend 1 week here

:slightly_smiling_face:

  • Sports: focus on your eyes and motor skill by doing archery and here having fun with the unique water ski place at Wake Park, horse riding, zipline, paddy field at sunset by quad bike tour, elephant tours and camping at Phnom Kulen National Park.
  • Entertainment and culture: vibrant circus performance to enlighten the night at Phare Circus, have meals while enjoy the classical dance at some restaurants: Kulen, Amazon Angkor. Dress up as Khmer old fashion style at Café Vaphator (Cultural Café) along the river. Learn more about the martial arts of Bokator - Khmer Martial Art here, and of course, cooking class and pottery class as well!
  • Sightseeing tours: temples tour by bicycle or by tuk-tuk for the further ones, sunrise at Angkor and East Mebon temple, local life on water at floating villages, cultural village, eco resort Phnom Krom, Prasat Phnom Bakheng, Pre Roub temple and Phnom Krom for sunset, home-stays and other places.
  • Food and drink: night parties at Pub street, vegetarian food at Vitking House and other restaurants in town, try Cambodian noodle at the local restaurant here as well.
  • Spa: I love therapy and oily spa. It is so relaxing. You can go to many spas in Siem Reap. The fancy and most popular one is Bodia Spa where they supply their products all organic.
  • Hot Air Balloons: for sunset and Angkor Wat, depends on weather, check first here

… and the list goes on :slightly_smiling_face:

@iorikun301 thank you dear, Cambodian noodles are made from rice. The soup to go with can be curry or lemon grass soup…
