Once upon a time, in Cameroon, when there was still war between kingdoms and kings, there was a land in the west region of Cameroon called Fomopea. The gods of land were so happy with the population and their relationship with relatives and ancestors that to protect the Fomopea Land, they created this mountain. The Neyang mountain which means the mountain of happiness. On top of the mountain there were big holes and stones to hide in. Throughout the years the land was safe. Because on top of the mountain there were the most courageous guy of the land. From there he could see enemies from all sides, he could alert the land by beating the 
drum from the top of the mountain (bam baB Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam) and women and children will go and hide here.
From the top of the mountain, the army will easily push enemies back and save the land. This is Fomopea from the top of the neyNey mountain
