@AlMutebi for spoilers this “thing” mutura is awesome. Just dont think about the blood. Just feel the taste.
Its great!!
@AlMutebi wrote:
“made with meat and blood, flavored with spices and cooked and then stuffed into the intestines” the whole thing sounds crazy for someone who has never tasted blood. Forgot to mention where the blood and intestines come from @WaweruM ?
@OSAMA yes we have both chicken and mutton shawarmas available, but this is more on a street food, placed every where , there is no separate restaurant for this.
@RashidJorvee Icant tell if this tastes good! The look frightens me lol!!

Golgappa or Panipuri in India
@Ann-MarieS I love this full time. I can eat all this stuff the whole day long without question.
Cool food I see there.

In Zanzibar our street food is “Chipsi Mishkaki”
Chipsi = Chips aka Fries
Mishkaki = Meat Skewers. traditionally the skewers have 3 tiny beef pieces but these days they have started making other sorts of skewers like chicken, or fish. Most locals get the beef.
Served with sweet and spicy tamarind sauce.
I don’t have a photo but;
Here is a photo from google images of the street stalls at Forodhani Food Markets selling the Chipsi Mishkaki
and here is a photo of the traditional 3pc beef skewers with the sauce - minus the chipsi!

Hi @WaweruM ! This is something we are really proud in Rome, because Italy is so huge in food… you will not find something (although Pizza could work…) that works for all Italians!
Porchetta is a kind of slow roasted pork, along with many spices.
And Coppiette is from pork or horses, very hot spicy!
@JonasKL if you will come to Rome i will bring you to the place where you can eat all of these street food wonders
