In Zanzibar our street food is “Chipsi Mishkaki”
Chipsi = Chips aka Fries
Mishkaki = Meat Skewers. traditionally the skewers have 3 tiny beef pieces but these days they have started making other sorts of skewers like chicken, or fish. Most locals get the beef.
Served with sweet and spicy tamarind sauce.
I don’t have a photo but;

and here is a photo of the traditional 3pc beef skewers with the sauce - minus the chipsi!
