What street food is famous in your country?

Hi @WaweruM

In Argentina that sausage is called “Morcilla” ( pronounced in english: “MORE” - “C” - “SHA”), made mostly with blood.

You can eat it cold (raw) or grilled in a bbq (asado) as an entry dish.

Cheers from Argentina!

Hi,

In Nigeria, the most common street food is called “SUYA”, it is made out of cow-meat, chicken, etc but the Cow-meat is most common here in Lagos Nigeria even though it is a thing of the Northern part of Nigeria.

It is simply skewered meats covered with a spicy peanut spice mix and roasted to perfection. Beef or Chicken can be used for Nigerian Suya. @OSAMA , @LucioV you need to taste this too anytime you visit Nigeria. @U-royFelixA tell them more about our Suya. Thanks @WaweruM for this post

@WaweruM Nice one bro. Thank you very much for sharing this. I recall when I was in Lagos, every morning especially weekends I’ll head out the street to buy “Akara”. Akara is made out of blended beans. It’s one of the most popular street food the whole of Nigeria.

There’re also several others like fried yam and fried plantain; very good delicacy for breakfast and dinner. There’s also the trending one now known as indomie noodles. You find lots of small shops by the street with no fewer than 3 bench and table queuing up to be served indomie noodles and sometimes with fried egg.

Below is some photos of our Nigerian Street Food. I’ll certainly hook you up when you visit. Enjoy the view. :yum::yum::yum:

@WaweruM No doubt you’ve got that right but mutura faces stiff competition from good old Nyama Choma. Both are heavenly when prepared right.

@WaweruM I’ll be there so soon. THANKS!
