What Local Guides means to me: self-expression and help others.

The Local Guides program gives me instruments for self-expression. It gives me the opportunity to show my photos and photography is my passion. With Local Guides I can share my opinion and my observations and by the way I love doing it.

The Local Guides allows me to be useful.

The Local Guides is always near you. I mean, I’m not so brave in new countries, so this program adds a little bit of courage, confidence, and support to me. For example, I’m not ready to dangerous food experiments. If I see a doubtful restaurant in new countries, I’m not sure if I’ll go inside without seeing the reviews of Local Guides.

When I was in New York, I was walking through Brooklyn Bridge Park. I was starving and looking for a place for lunch. When I first saw Luke’s Lobster, I was surprised how this pretty small cafe is so popular and has so many positive reviews in The Local Guides program. I bravery chose it without any doubts. It was absolutely worth it. They have amazing lobster food.

The program also gives me a chance to see places where I haven’t been and probably won’t be, to see these places through other people’s eyes. This is a very interesting experience. So, I can dream. I can feel the whole world and my connection to it.

Sometimes, thanks to other participants of the program, I see familiar places from a different perspective. I don’t know these people, but I feel something common between us. And this is great!
