Being a Cybersecurity Sales professional and working at one of the biggest global IT distributor. I travel a lot – local, national and to US. I meet a lot of people for my work and most of these meetings happen over breakfast, lunches and dinners. I am not a travel or food blogger, but I am for sure a passionate local guide. Am an active local guide and love contributing to our google reviews community. I want to help people know the real, hands-on review of the place they plan to visit. Wherever I go for my Hotel Stays, business meals, along with my Business partners or my vendor (e.g.: IBM) I just have to ensure that I take pictures of place, ambience and the food.
Where, this got interesting (still continues to) is, along with pictures of MY food I also ensure that I take the pictures of food, drinks of my accompanying business colleagues (on the job). Yes, it always gets crazy awkward and you have them questioning/judging me, as if I am that highly active social media guy, who wants to vlog/blog to the world about what he does every day. Note: I am not that guy, I don’t often share my life stories on social media, would do it, but occasionally. Anyway, coming back to our topic, once I am done taking photo’s of their food, I would explain them that I put all my captures on google photos and leave an honest review, so that it would assist/help fellow dinners/travelers to know in advance what they are going to get when they visit the place themselves. Listening to this they get impressed and thank us local guides for being there to assist them with honest reviews, photos and videos.
I would continue my crazy adventure, capture all my travel, food moments (don’t care the awkwardness) and contribute to our ever-growing local guides community.
Sharing some of my random travel and food captures…
Cheers people. Keep sharing…. keep connecting….
