What is the most interesting thing you’ve done as a Local Guide?
One Car- Two Drivers- Three States- Four And a Half Brother- An Epic Road Trip of 2500 kilometers in India.
Last year in the month of October we brother’s decide to go on a road-trip. The first task was to decide a place. After searching a lot on the internet about various places and routes we came to the conclusion that we should visit Rajasthan this time. So with the help of google maps & local guides we made outline of our trip.
As we were starting from Mumbai we need to cross three states to reach our destination. Maharashtra-Gujarat-Rajasthan.
As it was a long journey so we decided to take halt and reach our destination.
Day 1: Mumbai-Ahmedabad
We started our journey from mumbai around 9am in the morning. By using local guides we came across a Jain Temple where we had our lunch.
On our way to Ahmedabad we had a lot of fun. With the help of Google maps & local guide we came across many places which were not explored. From finding loo to hotels google maps were very helpful.
So we reached ahmedabad around 6pm in the evening. After reaching there the main concern was stay. So using maps & local guides we search for jain dharmshala in ahmedabad. Google maps made it so easy for us we got the number of dharmshala and booked our stay at very low cost.
The most intresting thing done was we searched the best food and places to explore in Ahmedabad.
Day 2- Ahmedabad-Jaisalmer
While planning for the stay in Jaisalmer using maps & local guides. We came across a place known as Mala Ki Dhani. Reading the reviews on local guide we chose that place for our stay in Jaisalmer. It was one of the best decision we took.

While searching on maps & local guide we came across a backpackers hostel in Jaisalmer. Again thanks to maps for helping us out and we got a very cheap place to stay for a night.

Jodhpur is a popular tourist destination, featuring many palaces, forts and temples, set in the stark landscape of the Thar Desert. It is popularly known as Blue city and Sun city among people of Rajasthan and all over India. The city is also said to be the cultural capital of Rajasthan state.
In Jodhpur we stayed at a Dharmashala which we got from Google maps again maps made us so easy for us. Explored the streets of Jodhpur.
Day 5- Jodhpur-Mumbai
After exploring Jodhpur it was time to return mumbai. This trip was on of the best road trip we ever had.
