I have made two very long and very enjoyable trips in my life. Both for Europe.
The first was a car-themed trip and visiting speed circuits and cathedrals. I left Madrid on Friday March 10, 2017, I spent the night in Zaragoza (I visited “La Pilarica”), the next day and after visiting the city I went to Barcelona where I saw “La Sagrada Familia”; I continued on my way and spent the night in Montpellier (France).
The next morning I visited Marseille and its cathedral, at noon I arrived at the “Paul Ricard” circuit, and in the afternoon I was already in Monaco. I visited the city and rested there that night.
The next morning I was already in Italy, my first stop was in Genoa.
After Genoa I visited Parma and ended the night in Modena. I visited the city and went to the hotel, the next morning I was going to see many new things.
It started on Tuesday March 14 with a visit to the Enzo Ferrari museum. Then to Sant’Agata Bolognese to visit the Lamborghini museum. Afterwards, I went to Maranello to visit another Ferrari museum and see the Fiorano circuit from afar. And before lunch he gave me time to visit the Pagani museum in San Cesario sul Panaro! ?
I ended up arriving at night at the Imola circuit where I was able to pay tribute to Ayrton Senna.

At night I arrived in Venice and I was able to spend the night.

I got up early and went to visit Venice. Incredible, the most beautiful city I have ever seen, one day I hope to go again. I visited it more or less in two hours (I spent the night in the car, one thing I did not say is that half of the trip I slept in hotels and another half in the car hehe). I started at seven in the morning and finished at nine, when the city began to fill with tourists, it is something else when it is empty.
I set out for Milan, but not before visiting Verona. A beautiful city, I loved the Roman circus that they have and Juliet’s house. Before arriving in Milan I stopped at the Monza circuit. And then I visited the city of Milan at night, very beautiful.

On Thursday morning (March 16) I was already in Switzerland. I really enjoyed visiting “Monte Bianco” on one side and “Mont Blanc” on the other.
A must see was the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. I spent hours watching cars, and at night … Lyon, France.
Friday ? Running to the Magny-Cours circuit and in the afternoon I was already in Paris! There I visited family and friends and I took a guided tour of all of Paris (I have a cousin who works as a motorcycle taxi and took me on a tour). : D
Saturday, visit the Le-Mans circuit, then visit the cities of Poitiers and Bordeaux (the French cities, at night are beautiful).
On Sunday morning I was already in Bayonne, and then I was already in Spain. I started visiting the Basque Country, where a friend of mine (and at that time also a co-worker) was waiting for me. He taught me many places, he had been born there.
Returning to Madrid (we had to work on Monday and it was already Sunday) we visited Burgos and its cathedral. And from there, straight home.
It was an unforgettable trip. But I said that I have made two great trips, right? The second one was recently, last November and I went to Belgium and Amsterdam with a friend, also by car. In order not to extend this story further, if you want, I will tell you another day.
Have a wonderful night,
César González.
