What is the most interesting thing I've done as a Local Guide

Lately I’ve tried to get more involved about reviewing and sharing stories of the places I’ve traveled to, even started my own blog post. I believe that the places I choose to visit are quite different from the regular destinations most people choose, this is one of the main reasons I consider my stories could be interesting for more people out there. But, I don’t just tell about how nice a place is, I care about the culture of the people who live where I visit, I want to experience a bit of what they live on the day to day. I love food, and I feel it is part of the most unique and true experience you can try while not being a local. So I usually do my research about local dishes and try to taste as much as I possibly can, then review the places I go and share how it was.

Recently I had to travel to Guatemala for work, so there wasn’t much I could do besides eating after the tight schedule through out the day. So after discovering I was able to write a list of the places as a recommendation in Guatemala City, I had no doubt about doing it and if felt so good and easy to share this that now I want to keep doing it at home. Not just for good places I know, but I also want to write about so much more lists like bars, best beers, best pizzas, best authentic Chinese food, best Caribbean restaurants, best soups. I’m full of ideas, I hope people will like these. Read you later.

Hi @luicas and welcome to Connect!

Thank you for creating your first post! I just wanted to let you know that I have removed the Spanish language tag of your post as it’s written in English. These type of labels are used so that posts in different languages can be found more easily by Local Guides who are speakers of these languages.
