Thanks for reaching out.
Please be informed that there is no messaging optioons on Google Maps. Here on Connect despite the public comunication which we prefer, If you wish to contact someone you can use a private message.
However there is an idea shared on Idea Exchange - Chatrooms in Connect, which corresponds to what your post is about. Feel free to vote for it and show your support.

Appreciate your answer @MashaPS , but I believe, the question by @Ganesh about the messages as in the screenshot below.
One can use that option for communications with the commercial establishments which have subscribed to Messages as explained in this link https://support.google.com/maps/answer/9093589?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en

Business owners can allow messages. If you are looking at the business in maps, you will see a Message button. You can use that button to send a message to the business owner. Their response will show up on the Messages area that you noticed.

Sorry for not understanding you completely @Ganesh .
As @C_T and @MicheleMarques perfectly described this option is available to directly communicate with businesses on Google Maps.
