- I like reviewing the hotels that I stay in during my vacations or on a trip because I feel that for a traveler hotel is the major component of a trip and your vacation experience heavily relies on the kind of hotel you stay in. Hotel also amounts to major share of your total expenditure and a correct review on a global platform such as google maps helps you put your hard earned money to good use .One major reason is that there are infinite number of hotels around and its nearly impossible to have a personal knowledge about all of them and even the online reviews on websites leaves a lot to be desired. There are a lot of points to be considered in booking a hotel which needs to be checked upon from setup of a room, its size, hygiene, to washroom condition, food, bars, gym, WIFI and other facilities. We often see a major difference between a photo shared by hotel owner of a hotel room to a traveler photo shared on google maps which gives us the reality. Many hotels I have been to promise some facilities that they may not have, or are inconvenient for women, couples, business travelers etc. Also, I have always heard back from hotel for which I shared review thanking for the same and improving their facilities or trying to incorporate new facilities, fix damages and so on.
There are six major points that I keep in mind while sharing my experience for a hotel
- Was it value for money?
- Room and Washroom size and cleanliness.
- Accessibility to markets, public transport and major hotspots.
- Kind of tourist it will be suited for.
- Was the staff courteous or not?
- And yes…. of course, FOOD
All this helps me helps me in giving my best review for a hotel and make any traveler stay a happy stay.
