What I love sharing most on Google Maps

Hey everyone,

My journey on Google Maps was not really planned. After spending a chunk of my life communicating via Smoke signals and drums (Haha I’m kidding) I got a smartphone. In the process of learning about phone features, you know that time when you take those horrendous front camera pics where guys can see up your nostrils or when you mistakenly send those very photos to your college Professor, I switched my location on. You can imagine how I reacted when I noticed my phone was recording all the places I visited. Oh, I forgot to tell you, I am from Kenya in Africa so superstition runs in my blood. Here I was thinking my village witches were tracking me!

Haha, let me get serious now. I am a pretty fast learner and soon after noting the capturing of my locations I started reviewing. I like to share truthful reviews. See I am one of those people who search online for reviews about almost everything, I heavily rely on them for vacation decisions, products to buy, services to procure as well as movies and series. Honest reviews are a godsend, cause sometimes people just get paid to give great reviews while the places or products are below par. I share about places, giving detailed explanations about them e.g accessibility, what to expect, the kind of service I get there, pricing and other relevant information. It also helps that I put several beautiful spots in my country on the map in the process of reviewing, which is another passion of mine. Kenya is beautiful, even I as a local have not visited all its locations, I am achieving that in small bits ( somebody say 8-5 job…bills must be paid) and taking you guys along with me on the journey. I am glad to have put my village Ndalu on the map ( If you look close enough at my pics you might see those village witches I mentioned earlier hahaha). I get so excited every time I get notified that my reviews and photos are making a difference. This journey I will not quit any time soon, I hopefully will be posting reviews about San Jose some time in November right? wink

Enjoy a few of my pictures from my escapades around Kenya and Tanzania.
