What I love sharing most on Google Maps is correct information on maps in Korea.

My name is SeokTae Ko (just call me Steven)
I live in Seoul Korea.

Several years ago, our company moved to a new building.
Then I had to use Google Maps for the first time to change our company address.

By the way, I found that there are lots of Inaccurate information and unregistered places in Google Maps.
Thus I began to actively participate in posting information on Google Maps to help foreigners visiting Korea.

I’ve been focused on activities such as adding English names, correcting wrong addresses or locations, adding phone numbers, deleting duplicate places and registering new places.

So I finally became Google Local Guides Level 10 this year.
And I am so proud to be a Local Guides because I feel patriotic.

By the way I don’t speak English well.
This posting was also helped by Google Translator.
And unfortunately Google Maps is not used well in Korea.
The reason is that Naver map or Kakao map is mainly used in Korea.
But I really want to let you know that there are a lot of people who want to activate Google map in Korea.
And I would like to learn how to activate Google Maps from Local Guides who have many experiences in various countries around the world.
That’s why I want to attend Connect Live 2019!

Let’s just do it!

I’d like to introduce one of my list on Google Maps

Nice reading your write-up!

Good effort you’ve put in there. Keep it up and lets together make the world (map) a better place.
