Hi all,
I reached Local Guides Level 10 recently, now what next? Can someone please shed some light on this? Does google have some new levels lined up or some other upgrades or something?

Regarding your question, mostly depends on what type of Local Guide you are, and what motivates you. As a heavy user of Google Maps, I contribute because I find helpful the contributions that I can see in Maps, and I contribute in exchange, trying to make Maps helpful for everyone.
I’ve reach Level 10 already 15 times (I have a bit more than 1.5 million points) and personally I don’t care too much about points. The only thing I did when I reached L10 was to do a deep check of my profile, looking for similar and eventually duplicate photos, and to remove them. Then I restarted to contribute, and that’s all.
Of course, as there are actually a lot of L10, it may be the right time for an upgrade of the levels.
The previous upgrade was made on 2017, when Maps increased the levels from 5 to 10, maybe thinking that 100.000 points was a figure hard to reach. Right now adding a few more levels could be a good idea

I guess we will wait for Google maps team to let us all know then 
I just did a check and found that there are more than 1700 level 10 folks across the globe, and this is 6 years old data. So there will be way more people by now for sure!

After level 10 there’s nothing but the pleasure of doing what you do just because you enjoy it or because you know that somebody out there will find useful the info that you include in every single review.

Nicely done @SjSujay. I was hoping to reach Level 10 by December 31st, but it seems a a bit doubtful now.
My thought was that after I got there, I would no longer feel pushed by the various aspects of gamification, as there would be nothing else to attain. I could then relax into a more natural cycle of contribution rather than the artificial efforts of searching for the next photo or review opportunity.
