For a couple of weeks, things were cruising along smoothly, and then suddenly the graph spiked. In just the latest update cycle, my photos picked up +184.9K new views, catapulting all-time photo views past 25.5 Million (sitting at 25,517,016!).
Even more exciting: total contribution views just hit 35 Million!
It makes you wonder:

Or are people simply traveling and searching more as the season changes?
Every time an upload takes off like this, it is a reminder of how alive and unpredictable Google Maps really is. One simple snapshot uploaded months ago can suddenly guide hundreds of thousands of people in a single week.

The view count remained flat between the 13th and the 20th, but from the 20th to the 27th, it shot up rapidly; I experienced the exact same thing. @Hanifahsan
