What does the Local Guides program mean to you?

Nothing would be Happier than Sharing

Before enrolling as Google Local Guide, I use Google maps just to search for places, business and so on. Then read reviews of places or businesses before starting. Every time I read a review, I used to see Local Guide tag beside a reviewer name. Initially I thought that the particular business or place owner has appointed some travel guide to put review on behalf of them. Later I started exploring why such tag was there? Who has given that tag? After that, I realized the importance of Google Maps as a community. Then after I started putting my own reviews for the places I visit to help and guide others.

After becoming as a Google Local Guide, Google sends me periodical emails about the views/statistics of the places I reviewed which boosts me to keep up my momentum.

Now I am Level 5 Local Guide with 7 photos and 14 reviews. My review on one of the local hospitals got 4410 views which made me to explore further and to serve this community much better.
