To me, being a Local Guide means building community, Appreciating People work, their Businesses, helping humanity without knowing them.
I started using Google Maps 5 years ago, and always prefer to read reviews before going to taste new food or place and it make me feel that how important is that to be a local guider.
Local Guides have introduced me to their customs, favourite treats, and passions. Ultimately, this program celebrates our differences while also uniting us by what we have in common: our love for exploring and trying new things
I love how being a Local Guide allows me to help others. Specifically, I’ve been able to help business owners by adding their locations to the map and attaching pictures to facilitate the visitors and I’m able to help their potential customers by leaving reviews to help guide their decisions.
I myself get help by viewing old reviews to the new place I visit and always try to make them more accurate and precise for next visiting people
Through my involvement in the Local Guides program, I’ve made my trust of people whom I don’t know personally, just because of my fair and accurate reviews. I am not a abroad traveller but in my home land I personally feel that as a Local Guider on Google this is my responsibility to facilitate people every aspect of this platform. I’ve never been a part of something so global before. Since I’ve only ever travelled domestically, I have a lot I can learn from others. Local Guides have introduced me to their customs, favourite treats, and passions. Ultimately, this program celebrates our differences while also uniting us by what we have in common: our love for exploring and trying new things! Yalllaaa.
