Let me tell you a bit about myself first. I have two sons and I love to travel with my family a lot. I am usually a person who plans well in advance before visiting any new place or going on a new trip. I have personally experienced the planning anxiety that exists behind each and every trip and most of that anxiety is focused on not knowing the accessibility, facilities, services and infrastructure a place offers beforehand. Although one can google about a place, the first hand reviews of people who have visited it provides the required validity to the information and eases my anxiety a bit. I always thought I wasn’t the only one who felt this way and this is why I got involved with the Google Local Guides program when my son @user_not_found introduced me to it. Being a Local Guide, I was able to gain first-hand information from people who have visited places and was able to contribute by sharing my detailed accounts of my visits too so that it will be easier for people like me to make more informed choices. My reviews of places range from the small shops in my locality to landmark monuments around the world since no place is too big or small when it delivers what it promises. I will continue doing my part and maybe meet my fellow Local Guides at an event like the Bay Area Connect Live 2020 in the near future.
