Hello to all the Local Guides around the world
Today I will tell you a story that many people ask me and for me it is very special.I discovered the local guide program in 2015 and it helped me change many aspects of my life and gave me the tools to help many people
I started without knowing the program, one day i upload a photo of where I lived and this is where it all starts .I saw how I could contribute and created routes to cover various places in my city.This gave me the opportunity to know more about my country. Many people told me that it was very dangerous because the city is not very safe but always took precautions ,motivation and confidences went out and covered what i had planned . This activity helped me get out of episodes of demotivation and depression and give me energy and motivation to do various projects since seeing what I could do i realize that I was doing something useful in life.I always recommend using google maps and the local guide program to all the people I know because it changed my life.
Local Guides means to me
Collaboration of all of us that make possible the contributions of photos, videos ,reviews etc of many differents forms we are collaborating with people around the world.
Solidarity to help all the people who use the map, to support each other so that small businesses grow and that already positioned businesses have reviews and photos that help them to have new customers making the map more accessible with elemental information that help the people to make the choice of where they will go walking , by car or in other transport.
Community , all of us who in one way or another are part of this big community collaborating and supporting and helping in programs that local guides create like Local Guides Clean The World ,Photowalks, meet-ups, accessibility walks , world blood donation day and many others that are very important.
Friendship for all the people we meet in all this time no matter where we are from and the special relation that we have created.
Enthusiasm to do everything in the best way, explore and guide.
Thanks to the local guide program I dared to explore more ,I met incredible places in my country.
i met a new passion in me which is photography i what took me to specialize in it to give quality contributions.
Help people from my country by adding their businesses or supporting those who were already on the map by adding my reviews. this giving them a positive impact in several ways like in economic aspect.
This program gave me the opportunity to meet various people from all over the world and keep in touch learning new things about culture, history, traditions and knowledge that were shared with me and finally and one of the most significant things for me was the incredible experience that the team of local guides gave me when they select me to be an assistant to connect live 2018 It is one of the best moments of my life I was waiting to turn 21 to apply for this opportunity and to see that I was selected was a mixture of emotions, imagine traveling to the USA for the first time ,meet people who work day by day to make the application better and be able to ask them questions and learn more about what they do and get to know a little the google offices wow !
