Hi Local Guides
I am Paramjeet a Level-7 Local Guide from Longowal Punjab India. By profession, I am working as a Research Scholar in the area of Power Electronics.
Four year ago in 2016, I started Local Guides Program of Google Map as a photographer and reviewer. Whenever I visited new place, I added photos and reviews of that place. This task took me to the level of “Expert Photographer” and “Expert Reviewer” on Google Map.
During the journey with Google Map, I came to know that there are many important and unidentified place which should be available on Google Map so that it can be explored easily through Google Map. This added one more role to my profile as a Local Guide Trailblazer. In this role, I managed to achieve the level of “Master Trailblazer”.
Views and Likes on my photos, reviews, and places energized me with feeling to be special and took aside from the crowd on Google Map. Then I realized the true potential of Local Guide Program to help others with simple tasks. Now it become my habit to share my experience, capture photos, give rating about the place and service related to it so that others may get some idea before visiting that place.
My efforts provide me opportunity to apply for a yearly event organized by Google with an application video of one minute.
