My favorite thing in the world to do, is SEE it! Traveling is such a burning passion for me, discovering new places, cultures, religions, cuisine, and awesome people from all over the word ~ it fuels my soul! The local Guide program has given me a platform to tell and show the world, what I believe are the “must visit” ,“must see”, “must eat” places whenever I travel (locally & abroad)! Additionally, I depend on other Local Guides on Google to guide me in my search for the best of the best when I travel throughout my city locally for new and fun places to visit and eat as well as when I’m abroad and have no clue where to start ~ the Google Guides are truly compasses for the most amazing discoveries. I have traveled on my own dime over the years to Canada, Dubai, Amsterdam, Germany, Greece, Spain, and most recently Egypt and I could not have navigated these places without Google on all platforms but especially the local google guides! I always check in to new places and ask questions and the guides come through for me diligently, which is why whenever another “Googler” asks a question and I get that notification; I make it my mission to answer the question if I know the answer off hand or look it up for them and respond that way! I have always been a foodie and being able to rate the experience for other people is so fun for me because I always check reviews before I eat out; so when I post and review a new place or dish, I do it knowing that it will matter to someone because the reviews matter to me. The Local google guide program has also given me this fun sense of achievement. I am always looking forward to reaching the next badge or level! I find it so fun that I try to get my friends involved and have already successfully gotten my boyfriend on board in a fun competition to see who can reach the next level first. Becoming a local guide has been one of the niche things that people who know me know I am passionate about. I’ve bee all over the world, but I haven’t made it to California yet - I hope it will be a new “ping” in my google locations as a guide soon!
