As a day-night shift worker, find something to do is a tip to pass the lonely “between-shift”
I work as an emergency attending at Taiwan, a shift = 12 hours.
It’s a lonely job, sometimes exciting, sometimes sadly.
Exciting for the job can help some , sadly for it do cure few.
I statrted my resdientship since 2001, which is so-called SARS time.
I realized what I learned and what I did is of only some help to human.
Even though it’s a simple concept, but did take me years to understand.
OK, for my mental health, I started writing and going outside betweeen shift-shift , and shared these on the net like personal blogger, and BBS.
Yet, it lacks of … something, which I did not know exactly at that time.
After I posted my first photography on the local maps :
I stand at at 14th floor of Department Stores to see NewTaipei Civil Square decroated as a Christmas Scene and tag the place. The photo got more than 1,000 review in next 24 hours, which was told by google.
Suddenly I knew something, I still cannot write in brief of any language, but if you’re wiling to know, let me tell you:
We people are all parts of the world, you do my favorite job, I go somewhere you want to go.
In early years, we found each other in old book stores, but on local guide connect now.
allow me to quote a movie lyric :
Connect is a good thing, maybe the Best of things, and No Good thing ever Dies.
That’s what local guide program means to me
