a few years back I decided to travel with a group of friends. my country being the tourist destination it is owing beautiful shorelines Malindi was the place to visit. I had used google maps in the past hailing from the central and most urbanized region in my country finding places was an easy task. after meticulous planning booking a cottage at a very affordable price, budgeting as well as acquiring transportation we enbacked on a trip that would later introduce me to the local guides program. upon getting to Watamu we hit a snag… google maps lead us to an isolated village full of shirtless dark-skinned men who were obviously disturbed by our presence. whoever gave the directions missed a few entrances and wasn’t actually on the premises. adding salt to the injury our phones were going off and even the locals couldn’t help. with my only one bar of network10% charge, we managed to get directions from a local guide who had posted the directions to the cottage earlier. upon getting to the cottage, I posted a picture, a review and the exact location using the local guides program and since then I have been hooked. one of the most exciting features is the point and levels that affirm progress and reward tasks. every day for me is an opportunity to put my hood on the maps literally

As per your title, I hope it’s your CL2020 application post? if yes, it’s not under travel tab, should be under Local Story
