I am 56 and I like travelling!
First of all, the Local Guide application prompted me to leave out of my comfort zone and make me more confidential with a modern technology. I believe that sharing of personal experience with other people is a key element which allows to open your mind, save time on avoiding
the common mistake or be disappointed. In my daily routine I use the digital technologies, such as Internet, You tube, Facebook etc. to find the information which will be useful for me. From time to time I was thinking how I can be useful and helpful for society. In my free time I try to visit new countries and cities. Travelling is a chance to investigate new places, landscapes and cultures. My friend inspired me to posting my travelling stories and pictures with other people by using the Local Guide application. I realized that it is a chance to make a contribution to the developing of society and make world wider to everyone, despite the financial opportunity, limit of time for travelling or assist to choose a new travel destination. So, I decided to try and posted the pictures from my last travel to Kamchatka and push people to travel there. Personally, for me it looks like another planet.

I was surprised that some of my pictures has more than 500 followers and it inspired me to promote my previous trips.
Now I am continue to share pictures from my new trips. I visited Spain and Germany in February.
The main aim of my posts are to represent the incredible places where people never being before and possibly they wish to visit it at least virtually without any restrictions. Personally for me it was a chance to face with a fear of using digital technology and fight it. It assists me to practice my English and be open to new approaches.
Secondly, the application allows me to plan my next journeys. Now, I am planning to visit Italy where I will taste the delicious local cuisine and also want to visit incredible landscapes and ocean in Portuguese. A bit closer to my trips I will investigate this directions via Local Guide. I am sure that I can pick up more interesting facts and advice from other travelers.
To sum up, I have made my first steps in modern technology and communications. In addition, I believe that I will develop my skills more and it improves my content. the app makes my future trip unforgettable.
