What does the local guide program mean to me?

For me local guide program is knowledge & experience sharing, creating networks with peace.

I involved in Local guide program in few years back and as a Marketing professional in Sri Lanka, the local guide program has significantly impacted my life in many ways. I would love to share my experience about the local guide program as follows:

Sharing of knowledge and experience: Whenever I am traveling to new places, I love to use google maps because of finding unknown places to reach easily and add reliable reviews on the places I visited. For example, about Hotels and Restaurants, Parks, Historical areas, Super Markets, Companies, etc.

Here with I love to share one of the places which I have visited recently,

I think that I have a social responsibility on providing credible reviews for places I visit and when I know that my reviews are helpful for many people, it gives me a self-motivation to share my experiences with everyone through this local guide program which added a value to my life.

Creating networks: My involvement in the local guide program enabled me to become friends with other local guides and get to know each other. To me local guide program is not just reviewing places, it is a far more way to connect people and helping the world around me.

A world with a peace: For me, local guide program helps to discover cultural diversities around the world and enables us to understand, share and discover differences but still teach to respect and equally treat each other to create this world a great place for everyone. When I see the name “Connect Live 2020”, the name itself gives the perception of belongings to a global family, friendship and peace.

Therefore, it is a great opportunity to be a local guide and I am looking forward to help the community as much as I can. Thanks Google.

Hello @srikaraa you might have wondered what happened to the first post you wrote, as that all of a sudden disappeared, right? Well, actually, it was accidentally caught in our spam filter (which is quite strict out here).
