So last year I decided to visit the city of Nainital.
Heard a lot about the beauty of this place and this time I decided to visit it.
Started the journey on Friday night from Delhi via bus.
The journey was 8 - 10 hours long from Delhi to Nainital.
As I reached the place I looked at the beauty and simplicity of the city and loved by seeing the lakes and greenery.
I am very fond of places where greenery and rivers are, it makes me feel refreshed and happy.
In the night I realized there is some kinda festival is happening, which I didn’t know before starting my journey.
The festival is named as Nanda Devi, in which all people of Nainital celebrate it by doing prayers and organizing fairs and events which include a dance on the local folk songs.
I thoroughly enjoyed the event and felt that I am in luck to come at this time.
I visited some of the holy places which are very popular in that area and in Nainital.
Here is the image of the famous Kainchi Ashram where Mark Zuckerburg and Steve Jobs also visited and spent some time.
Inside images of the place were not allowed so I couldn’t take any.
But believe me, the place is so much calm and peaceful that you would want to stay there or come again and again.
The place is famous because of a saint Neem Karoli Baba.
There are many stories that you can ask from the people and will be amazed and enjoy after listening to those.
I would recommend people to go there and at least visit this place once and especially the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram and Kainchi Ashram.
