On my youngest sister’s 20th birthday, we decided to celebrate her birthday at Port Dickson which located in Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus, Malaysia. Port Dickson consider as a famous weekend retreat for city dwellers, said to have been named after British officer John Frederick Dickson in 1889.
It takes just over an hour by car to travel from our house in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan via Seremban–Port Dickson Highway, SPDH.
Despite there is a map provided by the tourism division of state government. Most of the attractions places is crammed into one small map.
However, travelling with such a big families members together, we managed to locate each of the places using google map and we created a list dedicated to anyone who also wish to visit this part of the countries for leisure or any special occasion.
Weekend Trip to Port Dickson, N.Sembilan
This list we created including places for seafood restaurant for lunch and dinner which is well known among the local and must visit places that aren’t promoted actively by the state government such as the Military Museum…etc…
As local guide, I noticed a few places are duplicate on the map which very confusing as each duplicate their location pin are located away from the actual location.
Beside that, some useful information about the place are not updated which kinda give us worried whether the places are closed or open for business. As we arrived to our destination and found out that the place is permanently closed, it’s really disappointing as we travel in a big families, we have researching for other places to go and immediately we update that particular place on google maps as ‘permanently closed’ so the next person knows.
Do share with me about your experience following my list as a guideline and visiting the places. Otherwise, if you have any feedback about the list that I had created, please do not hesitate to buzz me up.
Good Luck and Have a great vacation aheads!
