There is a signature landmark standing by the eastern end of Long Island - Montauk Light House. My husband is a fan of light house and had it on his bucket list for years. Finally we got perfect reasons for both of us: he is for the light house; I am for the fresh seafood.
We visited the Montauk Point Lighthouse from Queens and the drive wasn’t too bad, which was about 2.5 hours.
Montauk Lighthouse Museum
It was totally worth the trip to check out the beautiful lighthouse and seascape. During COVID-19, the museum in the lighthouse is closed but tourists can take a walk by the coastal line.

Clam Bar At Napeague
Seafood delicacies is definitely a MUST when everyone visit Montauk.
I introduced Clam Bar At Napeague in my last post and please check here if you are interested.
The drive isn’t too bad but people should take a rest, stretch their legs on the half way. Therefore, we highly recommend to stop in Wainscott and brought some souvenir home.
Levain Bakery - Wainscott
My husband and I are big fans of Levain Bakery. They serve one of the best cookies in the world. The smell was amazingly great from the outside. Everything was delicious, addictive and as good as their other locations.

The Seafood Shop
The Seafood Shop is signature and famous for its super fresh ingredients. The exterior decor is humble with simple white and blue colors. There was a great variety of options from ingredients, uncooked food, prepared food to delicious dishes with reasonable prices.
