Website as watermark

Hello, can I use my website as watermark in the photos that I post to google maps and sometimes use this watermarks to hide faces

as you can see in the above picture to hide the faces I used a big watermark.

But as you can see in the 2nd picture I used a relatively small watermark and position is in the corner or in the bottom part of the picture

No, you cannot, @Bishal_D , and I also ask you to remove it from here, because advertising in connect, even if to show an example, is strictly forbidden.

Please read:

Prohibited and Restricted Content

Format Specific Criteria

In addition, using the local guides program for branding your business is totally against the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions , and also participating to the program “as a business” as clearly explained in your avatar and profile name: “Organizations, brands, and businesses are not eligible for the Program.”

If you are here to represent your business, please leave the Local Guides Program following this link ( opt-out page ) on your desktop or laptop

@ErmesT sorry ermest you got me wrong I wanted to put those things as a watermark and to hide people faces, not to promote my business. I love contributing to google maps. But as you asked me not to do so. I will never do that again and after you read and reply to this post I will delete this post.

Thanks

You just need to delete your photos, @Bishal_D , and if you like to contribute you are welcome to do it, of course removing your latest contributions from Google Maps as soon as possible

Your post will help others to understand the rules, however it is better to ask before to contribute, because the risk is that someone will report your photos as spam

@ErmesT I am trying to replace all the images as soon as possible. Thanks for your time and should I keep this post or delete it?

You cannot delete the post, @Bishal_D

Press the three blue dots on your post then click on “edit”, to remove the photos

Edit your post - Why and How To will help you.

On a side note, most of your watermark are not covering any face, and a lot of faces are visible. Respecting the privacy of others is another golden rule, when you upload photos.

Hi @Bishal_D and welcome to Connect,

I’ve moved your post to the How-tos section of Connect as this is the best place to ask questions here. I have also accepted @ErmesT 's reply as the solution because it answers your query and will be easy to find by other Local Guides who have the same question as you.

To learn more about Connect, check out this guide. Thank you.
