Gravity and its ways are the same for everyone and sometimes this makes the equation really nice for visual pleasures only in case of water. We don’t like other things falling from the sky on us.
It gives us hope that we too can be broken down by expectations, self-criticisms and other goals but after the fall we can again find our broken parts and regain all the strength to continue the life’s journey.
Yeah, there will be something of us which will be left behind as it was too small that it could not regain itself after the fall - It will be our “Ego” that during the fall will encounter a lot of shattering and that’s best for us.
The lesser you are proud, the more you will be humble to accept the fact that you too have seen the fall.
Waterfalls have always been very impressive to me @TheLifesWay ,. In Denmark we don’t have any many elevated areas so there’s not really any waterfalls either.
Whenever I travel I always make sure to see the nearby waterfalls. This one in South Africa looks very nice, do you know how high it is?
Hi @MortenSI But I am sure there must be some in the nearby countries. This one is only 70 meters high and the best part is you can climb up to the source river of the same in just 15-20 minutes which I do every time I visit this Botanical Garden in Johannesburg, South Africa. Totally beautiful and relaxing. Cheers!!! Aashish
I’m sure there are waterfalls in some of our neighbouring countries @TheLifesWay . We actually have one in Denmark but it is located on the island of Bornholm which is actually closer to both Poland and Sweden even though it belongs to the Danish kingdom.
The waterfall is called Døndalen Vandfald, and I’ve seen it a few times during my childhood. I would love to go to South Africa one day and see these huge waterfalls though. That would be amazing!
@MortenSI Awesome! There are many bigger waterfalls here in South Africa namely Howick Falls, Lisbon Falls and biggest being Tugela falls which is 948 meters and you have to trek full day (to and fro) to see the same which unfortunately I could not still do. I will share them surely for you. Cheers!!! Aashish
948 meters, that’s insane @TheLifesWay ! That is exactly the type of waterfall I want to visit, and luckily I don’t mind the long hike. I wonder if it’s possible to camp out by the waterfall and then hike back the following day.
No dear @MortenSI You can only start in the morning and they close it after a certain time and you need to return in the evening. Other than the walking part, it involves a certain steps ladder (made of iron) hanging 90 degrees on the side of the rock with a vertical fall in the valley. The hike is really dangerous as the air is too much sometimes along with rain and can’t be done with kids etc. What I am telling you is all from the experience my friends who went and did the hike. As you now say, let’s plan it once you are in the Republic of South Africa. Cheers!!! Aashish
@MortenSI Also, I just Googled waterfalls by heights and this is right next to Angel Falls which is 979m and Tugela is 948m - so second highest in the world! WoW! Definitely would want us to do efforts to see it. Cheers!!! Aashish
That couldn’t be much more convenient @TheLifesWay , perhaps I could see all three waterfalls in a single trip. I will definitely do some research on that and see what’s possible.
