Wall Art in Northcliff Ridge Eco Park, Johannesburg, SouthAfrica

Hi Friends,

Wall art or graffiti forms part of many countries and really makes for the decor of many parks and cities.

We have a great Northcliff Ridge Eco Park in Johannesburg, South Africa which is on the top of a hill and the view is amazing.

The place looks great when it’s raining in the city and I have been there which will be covered in a separate post. People come there for a morning walk and the amazing picnic spot it is on a clear day.

So great are these artists who take some time to make these walls great. There are many places where the government pays to these artists to decorate the walls.

It looks so great to look at these walls but I am unable to understand what’s written in these walls of Eco Park.

The Northcliff is one of the highest points in Johannesburg and you can see the whole city from there. All the photos are taken using the Samsung Note 8 smartphone in auto mode.

Sawubona!

Hi @TheLifesWay

Cool photos! I do appreciate street art as to me, it brings more color to the area and art is always great, no matter what kind. Is there more art in this park? There is an art district hear where almost all the wall are painted.

The place is called Kapana Art District and here is one photo from last summer.

Perhaps @BorrisS has more photos to share as well? ?

Awesome you and wall art @DanniS This place only had these small wall texts but in Johannesburg, South Africa there are many places which have full wall designs like the one you are standing in front of in Bulgaria. I will definitely dig out the photos and share them in another post soon. Thanks for liking and your inputs. Cheers!!! Aashish

wow! This one is so simple and meditative art. This reminds me of the times these days when you have to introspect as well as spend your time in nature from the windows of your eyes and soul. Once you reach that stage, it will be a life full of empathetic and compassionate hearts! Cheers!!! Thanks for sharing @BorrisS and @DanniS
