Hello! I lived in Tacoma for most of my life but I have rarely check out the Proctor and Ruston Way Districts. I am organizing a photo walk on Sunday at noon if anyone wants to join me!
RSVP here
Sounds awesome! I am going to try to make it and bring my partner!
I host local photo meets through @tacomasnapclub. You should check us out on Instagram!
Hope to see you on Sunday!
I live in the Proctor District and love the area. Metropolitan Market is fun to walk around in. Be sure to buy one of warm cookies from the coffee area. It is delis. Teaching Toys and Books is packed with everything fun for little and big kids. My grandson when he first saw it stated that it was heaven. Compass Rose is just plain fun to walk through. Careful you may see something you can not do without. Of course, there is a Starbucks. Actually two, one stand alone and one in Safeway. The Safeway has Sea Hawks and Sounders wear. Colors Gift Shop is a fun place, so is the Northwest Shop. Chirp and Co is not just for the birds. Peaks and Pints is new to the area. There are several resale shops and clothing stores.
G. Donaldson’s has good wine, cocktails, food and live music in the evening. There is many good places to eat in the Procter District. Enjoy your explore.
