It was my first time in a sandy desert. In the middle of the dunes it’s great to run, jump and roll in the sand. It’s so fine. It’s really dust, golden dust where your feet sink gently. The heat is strong but the excitement of discovery is stronger. Barefoot, enjoying the contact with the sand, but still a little afraid of stepping on a scorpion.

3 years ago, I too had my first experience with sand in Rajasthan.
The experience of touching the feet with the sand is beyond description.
There were Camel rides besides Jeep rides.

This desert is located in the sultana of oman. It is about a 2-hour drive south of the capital Muscat.
I think we had the same experience. A wonderful moment. The dromedary is great too, a really pleasant means of transport.
