The colorful natural beauty of Wadi Rum in Jordan is one of the main reasons why visitors choose to visit this place, especially during the evenings. When I was there, I felt like I had entered a fairy tale world as the moon illuminated the dark crimson sky, filled with a million sparkling stars. The sky changed from pale blue to soft blue to pale pink to bright orange to fiery red to French gray to pale black, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere.
At night, there is no light pollution in this magical ecosystem. We slept in the old Bedouin-style tents on the sand, gazing up at the endless diamond canopy of the sky. The sky and the stars were full of glory, and my heart was lifted up to them.
In the morning, as the golden sun rose, Wadi Rum transformed into a visual spectacle of colors. The red desert of Wadi Rum has been the stage for many Hollywood movies and Hindi songs. We went on a jeep tour in the morning and saw the inscriptions carved by the Nabataean’s hands in the past, which can be seen through the sandstones within three hours.
