Using more (different platforms) to review a place is perfectly fine, if your reviews are “original” and unique.
What should never be done is to paste the same reviews in more platform. This can cause you to be banned from both platforms
This is a big NO! It’s one of the biggest violation of the reviews concept, because reviewing a place with more than one account you are altering the online rating of a business.
What you can do is to keep your review updated, by editing it, if something is changed. In this way the information about the places will be updated.
When you visit a place again after a certain time, Google Maps will also prompt you to do that
What violates the guidelines is to:
- Review one place with more than one account
- Contribute on a place with the same content with more than one account
That’s why we should be very careful when we have more than one Google account
The violation of what mentioned above can cause the ban from the Local Guides program. If the violation is reiterated, it can also end in a restriction of the account(s) for publishing certain contents (e.g. reviews and/or photos) in Google Maps.
