Do you know warli painting is still done outside of the huts in many villages. & on cloth also. My daughter has learnt warli painting does on cloth & paper.
In Mumbai every year at juhu in exhibition a man comes from village sells warli painting.
Ratnagiri is beautiful place specially Ganpati pule .My sister had gone few years back. I had missed the trip , but when I saw there photo in resort it looked like Mauritius picture.
Neat & clean beaches beautiful resort by Maharashtra Government well maintain.

It is so beautiful I still feel like visiting again in peace and away from pollution.
since it is coastal area so we need to pick the proper time for visit (avoid summer time and peak rainy season)
There you will get all authentic Maharashtarain food mostly misal pav, Thalipeeth, vada pav, solkadi.
In the morning we get poha, upma, misal, tea/coffee etc.
The stalls are located in streets,
If you want to eat north Indian food there are few restaurants available.

Warli painting is a folk art of people in Konkan from the ancient times, they used to make it depicting stories the one in post describes the animal hunting story.
