If you are planning a holiday to the Netherlands don’t stick in the western part. The western part of our country is famous for it canals, bulbs, water and cities like Amsterdam and Rotterdam. And it is beautiful and amazing, really… But when you are here to visit, just try something very different. Take a trip to the southern- or eastern part. It is quite different in comparison the the west. I am a local guide living in the eastern part of the country, close to the german border. It is called Twente. Twente is a part of the Province Overijssel . It is beautiful over here. The landscape is hilly and varied with rivers, woods, moors and meadows. I will post some pictures so you can see for yourself if it is worth visiting us…

Jazeker! Ons landje heeft enorm veel te bieden op een relatief klein oppervlak. En we lijken een beetje dezelfde missie te hebben: kijk eens wat verder dan de standaard toeristische trekpleisters. Leuk! 
Ik begin nog maar net, ik moet alles nog een beetje onder de knie krijgen. Maar ZO leuk om anderen kennis te laten maken met je land, toch? Groetjes!
