Visiting movie locations, knowingly or unknowingly | #3Mchallenge

Hello LGs,

This is in participation in the #3MChallenge by @MerlinThomas.

This is true; many times you visit some locations, especially hill stations or family vacation spots, you tend to find many famous movies were shot here. And you find that when you try and find some photos to participate in such challenges here: slight_smile:

Here are some famous spots where I have been and found out the relations with the movie shot here.

New Era High School, Panchgani, Maharashtra: One of my favorite and famous movies shot here was “Taare Zameen Par.” Being an enthusiastic art lover, I specifically visited this school to check the location. Excellent location, very serene and quiet surroundings of mountains, looking into the valley.

Golkonda Fort, Hyderabad: I visited this a long time ago, well before I became a local guide. Later I found out that many new movies, like “Wanted, Singham Returns, and Tere Naam,” were shot here.

Chapora Fort, Goa: I have written a post earlier on this. A very famous movie, “Dil Chahata Hai,” was shot here, and we enjoyed those spots etched in the minds of movie lovers.

I hope this suffice your requirements of participation. @MerlinThomas .

Cheers!

@AjitThite, speaking about movie theater, it makes me think when the last time I went to Movie theater. I am not a very particular person that has to watch the latest movies, so I am no against going to a dollar movie theater (the movies are like 3 months old, lol). Due to covid 19 they closed the one by my area, since then I could say I watch movies online. It is a very interesting topic, Sir!

Superb collection Dada @AjitThite :laughing::folded_hands:
.

Discription:-I don’t have much collection of pics from film shoots and whatever I have is from before I became a local guide. I don’t want to share about it here but yes, I will definitely share one.
I clicked this picture in Heritage Transport Museum-Near GuruGram . There was a caption on display that said this is the same car that Shah Rukh Khan drove in the movie “Dil To Pagal Hai”.
Thank & Hope you enjoyed & liked :laughing::laughing::folded_hands::folded_hands:
