This month, I and my friends went for visiting **Jorasanko Thakurbari.**This place is the ancestral home of the great Bengali poet Rabindranath Tagore.Jorasanko Thakurbari is situated at Kolkata in West Bengal, India.The ancestral house is convert into a museum.He is a famous poet in our world.I hope that everyone knows him.He won the Nobel prize.
Now I am telling you about this place.The place is as a museum.Many things are preserved there which were used by Rabindranath Tagore.There are lots of things to visit.Inside the hall,there is large oil paintings.Very few original clothes are preserved there.
To enter in this place,there are needed entry fees.The ticket price Rs. 20 per head.Inside the building,there have no permission for common people to take photos.So that,I can’t take any photos inside the building.The place is open from Tuesday to Sunday at 10:30 A.M - 17:00 P.M.
Good place for couples,kids, family and friends.There is also a family tree which is looking very beautiful.There is large courtyard and also a small courtyard.
There is also available guide.If anyone need guide,they can contact to the office.The outside garden of the building is very beautiful.
The visitors are not allowed to bring there bags inside the museum.They need to keep their bags outside of the museum and turn off their mobile phones and cameras.If anyone want to take photos inside the museum,they need extra charges Rs 50.There is also held light show at 6 P.M.The outside garden of the museum is very beautiful.There are many trees.You can see the greeneries everywhere.
Who like arts, literature, songs, history and respect Rabindranath Tagore,they must visit the place.The people who read Rabindranath Tagore’s poems, dramas, songs they definitely like this place.The place is very informative.You can know the heritage and his family.You can learn the history of Rabindranath Tagore at the time of **Renaissance.**The place is also good for students.I like this place very much.
