Copenhagen is amazing! It gave me a very good feeling when I was there. I feel the vibe and the city is quite different from the rest of the Scandinavian countries. I look forward to revisit soon!

That is true @ThomasBerenth , but I wouldn’t advice potential tourists to take any photos unless they know for sure, that they aren’t near Pusher Street.

Hi @MortenSI your post helped me a lot.

I will be at Copenhagen at 24 of April for 6 days.

Thanks again

I hope my post will be helpful to you @user_not_found !

It seems you might encounter some rain in that period, but that will only bring you a more authentic Danish experience.

All the best and I hope you’ll have a great time in Copenhagen.

Hello @MortenSI great post, and botanical garden looks very huge :grinning::smiling_face::wink:

Thanks @Natalia_20-12 , I’m glad you liked it.

The Botanical Garden is quite a big place, and I highly recommend going there if you have the chance.

Stunning photos!!!

It looks absolutely perfect. They look like paintings, because nothing seems out of place. I hope I get to see Copenhagen, Denmark and more of Europe.

Hi @MortenSI

A wonderful post. Really this is a useful information for me at the right time. I have plans to visit Sweden in May 2020. I can plan Copenhagen according to what you have told in your post.

Thanks a lot.

Whenever I am free, I try to go through my ‘likes’ to see the calibre of people who have liked my work, more than that; to experience their life, work and thought processes; that led me here today.

I like how you have written this piece.

Writing a piece this long is tricky because you don’t know if you will lose your audience midway. Even though I am not a fan of everything here :see_no_evil: because I love to laugh, I read to the end.

One place I will love to visit amongst all the places mentioned is; Christiania. The only place I have read about that there are no cars is Venice! What is more spectacular about this?!; "taking of pictures (not even with Phone Cameras) are prohibited.

Can you please tell us a little more about christiania, we want to travel through your descriptive eyes, please @MortenSI

I’m glad you take an interest in our peculiar little freetown on Christiania @Ewaade_3A . Like I mentioned this area was taken over by hippies in the early 1970’s. Even though it is located within Copenhagen and does undergo the Danish laws, they consider themselves an independent state and even have their own flag.

Over the years, Christiania is considered a more normal place to live, and the people who live there now usually have normal jobs and pay taxes. The “no photos” rule only applies to a certain area within Christiania. This area is well known for criminal activity so the people don’t like having their picture taken.

Everyone is welcome in Christiania and even places like NOMA, the michelin star restaurant is located within the area.

Thank you so much! Now, I understand and perfectly too.

One last favor, please. What is hippies or Who? @MortenSI

Well @Ewaade_3A , the hippies that I’m talking about here were typically people who grew up in the 60’s and 70’s and had a very creative perspective on life. You would usually see them with long hair and beard wearing colorful clothes and they had a very peaceful way of living. Often times they would live several families in the same house, sharing all they had with each other.
