Hey mr , London is not so bad as you say
Not at all, and I do not think I said that either;)
Love the colours and forms you’ve captured in some of your images @MortenSI perhaps one day I’ll get to visit Copenhagen.
Hi @user_not_found
,
The photos I chose for this post is actually taken by talented Local Guides from around the world. Unfortunately I didn’t have photos of everything, so I decided to share the great work of others with due credit of course.
I’m glad you liked it @NirmalTeja !
If you ever plan to visit Denmark, don’t hesitate to ask for any advice, I would be happy to help.
That makes me happy to hear @ValeryTristar !
Have you ever visited Denmark?
I’m glad you liked my post @Prodeep !
Christiania is definitely a place worth visiting, and it is one of a kind.
I think the guards are pretty similar to the ones in London as they also wear the bearskin hats and similar uniforms. I always enjoy watching them, they have such discipline.
The busses within Copenhagen can take your anywhere, and they are very easy to use. If the weather is great, biking is always recommended, in fact, Copenhagen’s traffic lights are programmed in favor of the cyclists. If you ride your bike with an average speed of 20 km/h you will never have to stop at a red light.
I hope you get to visit one day, and feel free to ask about anything, I’m happy to help!
Thanks @PaulPavlinovich , but the photos are actually captured by other Local Guides who visited Copenhagen. I really liked them too, and that’s why I chose them for this post.
Thanks @MortenSI you just took me on a virtual tour.
Wow! Thx alot for this guide! I am just planning my vacation for 2019 and now I might consider Denmark and especially Copenhagen!
Regards, Marco
I’m glad you enjoyed it @Tosan !
I hope my post persuaded you to include Copenhagen in your 2019 travel plans @MarcoRachow .
If you set your mind on other parts of the country, feel free to ask me about anything.
Thanks However, the images are beautiful👌
Such a wonderful introduction~!!
Hi @MortenSI ,
Yes, you are right. I visited the H.C. Andersen Fairy Tale House in Copenhagen.
As for the Rosenborg castle, I visited it in January and I didn’t notice any presence of fish as it was very cold. I guess this place must be very beautiful during Spring, Summer and Fall. It must be full of people enjoying their free time there.
Here is another shot that I captured there and I would definitely like to visit it during warmer season.
It is very beautiful in the summer time when all the colors stand out. I see you found the statue of the Danish queen consort Caroline Amalie. She was married to King Christian VIII og Denmark some time in the 1800’s.
Hi @MortenSI ,
I am amazed by the range of activity one can have in Copenhagen!
Out if curiosity, how long should the stay be in the city, as at least to cover all the destinations you have mentioned in the post?
As food related, it is being said to prepare on our own, I wonder if utilizing supermarkets and wholefood store is a good idea?
Hi @sonnyNg !
Since most of these sites are relatively close to each other, you can do them all in a day or two.
However, if you want to fully enjoy all the activities and not having to rush through the city, I would recommend spending at least three to four days in Copenhagen.
The supermarkets are the best choice for food shopping. You can find cheap deals everywhere end get everything you need for a picnic style lunch or dinner.
Nice
Sounds great @MortenSI, ! : ]
I shall seek for any opportunity this year to check the magnificent Copenhagen.
