Being a tallest statue in the world, the Statue of Unity is a 182 metres tall metallic sculpture of the “Iron ManSardar Vallabhbhai Patel. It is located at Kevadiya Colony near Rajpipla city of Narmada City. The statue stands on the artificial island in Narmada river. The entire region is Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary. You can enjoy a beautiful view of nature that mesmerizes you proving how small we are in front of statue. This area is surrounded by small mountains which makes this place more pleasing. The base ticket for an adult is INR 150 ranging to INR 1000. In this statue, there is a gallery at the height of 135 metres which is in the chest of this statue. You can witness the jaw dropping view from that much height. From that gallery, the Sardar Sarovar Dam, Narmada River, Valley of Flowers and mountains. Right now, the place is still under construction and therefore, it will be more fascinating when this site will be fully constructed. Sardar Patel was a great freedom fighter and served as Deputy Prime Minister of India when India got independence from British rule. He was responsible for merger of 512 princely states after independence. The tallest statue with amazing museum, natural scenery and wildlife sanctuary proves to be a “must visit” place.
