NANDANKANAN ZOOLOGICAL PARK & BOTANICAL GARDEN
During our Visit to Bhubaneshwar during Sep 2023, we have visited Nandankanan Zoological park.
- Nandankanan Zoological Park is a 437-hectare (1,080-acre) zoo and botanical garden in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Established in 1960.
- It is around 15 KMs away from Bhubaneshwar and can be reached through Taxi / Autos from Bhubaneshwar Railway Station.
It is a very big park and you need to devote more time to take advantage of your visit
- There is battery vehicle available at the entrance with ticket (Rs.80/- per person) to be purchased. The vehicle stops at different places and you can get down watch the nature and other activities of the park and can catch other vehicle.
- There is also a jungle safari (Lion, Tiger, Bear, Herbivore ) where you can see the animals at a short distance. Ticket: A/c Bus Rs.100/- & Non A/c Bus Rs.65/- per person.
