Last weekend I visited the Haagse Bos. This is a wonderful forest just behind the The Hague Centraal station. It was a long walk through the woods. There are many places for adventure activities. Also there are many open air dining table chair for having a family time together inside the forest. Really enjoyed the walk. Our final destination was the Japanese Garden. The garden was also a great place to visit. I am really looking for a Local Guide Meet-up in this place. Please let me know if anybody is arranging for a meet-up in Den Haag. Looking forward to meet you all.

I’ll admit that I did the ‘Tourist’ thing of hightailing it out of the station to see as many notable sights as possible. I often forget that a walk in a local park is great for getting a feel for the vibe, but also a way to process and relax after racing around a city.
Pretty sure I went the opposite direction, and straight to Escher in Het Paleis when I got off the train. I didn’t even realize Haagse Bos was still right in the backyard!
I don’t know whether you are still there in The Hague or not. But if you are still here, please pay a visit to this place. As a nature lover, it gives me more joy to walk through the nature in compared to any man made object.
Frankly speaking it was by accident I came across this beautiful place. Let me tell you the story. It was an weekend after a hectic week and we thought we will visit to Japanese Garden in Den Haag. After many contrandictory thoughts of going by Bus or walk, we decided that we shall go by walk. Then we follow the Google Map direction. And on our way we came across to this place. This was really a pleasant surprise I must say.
Thank you @TravellerG . As a new member to this community, it is really good to see your guidance which is like a welcome gift for me. Keep up your good work.
