Prasanna Anjaneya Temple, Hangalur
Situated in Hangalur near Kundapura, the Prasanna Anjaneya Temple is renowned for its towering 80-foot statue of Lord Hanuman, inaugurated in 2005. The idol rises high amidst greenery and coconut plantations, offering a divine and peaceful atmosphere.
The temple itself is still underdeveloped with limited facilities, but the charm lies in its simplicity. In the evenings, the giant Hanuman idol glows under illumination, creating a breathtaking sight against the backdrop of coconut groves and the open sky. On Hanuman Jayanti and other auspicious days, devotees gather in large numbers, filling the temple grounds with devotion and energy.
