During the Ganpati festival, many different programs are organized, and one such program was sponsored by my husband’s company. Its name is “Mushak Messenger.” Under this program, Lord Ganpati’s vehicle—the mouse (Mushak)—is taken around different areas during the festival. Along with this, many competitions are organized, and prizes are given on the spot.
These competitions are very simple, and the specialty is that everyone can participate. To ensure people from all levels of society can take part, this Mushak is taken to different places. At these spots, you get the opportunity to whisper your wishes into the ears of the Mushak.
Afterward, this Mushak will be taken on a pilgrimage to the Ashtavinayak temples, carrying everyone’s wishes along and conveying them to the deities through this unique medium.
To carry out this event, Solapur’s popular radio station 95 My FM has taken the initiative and is executing it beautifully. RJ Amrit from 95 My FM is managing the program excellently. By visiting many housing societies in Solapur, he has organized various programs and competitions, bringing the Mushak closer to the people.
We also got the opportunity to be a part of this program, and in connection with it, we visited the 95 My FM office. RJ Amrit shared with us detailed information about their office and explained how their operations work.
So far, 95 My FM has achieved three records in the Golden Book of World Records. The first world record was created in front of the statue of Shivaji Maharaj that is “Longest feat of holding a flag in relay”
where around 400–500 people from Solapur stood holding saffron flags, completing this record successfully.
Another record was something unique—while we’ve always heard about weddings being celebrated in different ways like destination weddings, weddings in airplanes, or underwater weddings, 95 My FM conducted the first-ever wedding ceremony on radio, right in their studio, thus creating a world record.
Yet another world record was achieved on 15th August, when people stood holding the national flag in relay (Tiranga). Around 300–400 people from Solapur participated, and it was successfully completed. Each person was requested to hold the flag for at least 5–7 minutes.
Visiting the office of such a radio station that has created world records was a wonderful experience. It was equally delightful to meet RJ Shraddha and RJ Amrit.
Many awards are achieved by 95My FM which is commendable.
Later, we discussed many topics with RJ Amrit, including sustainability, and he shared more information on the subject with me. We also talked about various initiatives related to cleanliness, the use of plastic, and water conservation.
Overall, it was a truly memorable experience. The children also learned about what a radio station is like and how its environment functions.
Also I like one thing that their work place is very flexible and colourful which we can get fresh and happy wibes.
RJ Amrut also told us about their daily schedule and programs which are they conduct.
Here I am trying to give you link of map 95My FM office address.
